National park Krka

Krka National park is the most beautiful park in the world. This is some pictures in the winter and from my view it is nicer than the summer. In the summer is to many people and it is very crowded. For local people (me) Krka is meaning so much, it flows in the veins :)

River Krka is a phenomenon, while making its way to the Adriatic sea; it forms many lakes, falls and water currents. Originating from the base of the Dinara Mountains, by the town of Knin; because of the natural beauty and geological characteristics around the Krka River was declared a National park in 1985. The park encompass' and area of 109 km2 and follows along the river Krka about 2 km down river from Knin to Skradin.
The most impressive, and visited waterfalls are Skradinski buk and Roški fallsRoški falls are very accessible and can be visited year round. 650m of river create 12 water falls, with a total height of 27m. On the left side of the river Krka there are mills (used for processing wheat and corn) some of which are still in use today.
From Roški falls the river once again turns into an elongated lake named Visovac. There is a little islet in the middle of the lake and it is the name of this islet - Visovac; where the lake got its name from. On the islet there is a church and Franciscan monastery which add secrecy to the lake and islet. The first settlers on the island were Augustinians (nomads) in the 14th century and it was them who built the church and monastery. In the year 1440 Franciscans arrive from Bosnia, who were chased away by the Turkish invasion. They were able to stay there until today, bringing with them their valuable collection of books, art, and even 630 Turkish documents.
Skradinski buk is considered one of the most beautiful cliff water falls in Europe. You can see them with a walk through a Forrest on a wooden path and bridges. The river Krka is rich with various species of fish, 10 of which are endemic. The great number of birds in National park Krka is also considered a haven and one of the most valuable areas in Europe.
Swimming is allowed only in authorised zones, the park can be visited by boat or from Skradin by foot. Entry to National Park Krka is in the town Skradin (Šibenikk: 23km)
Ticket prices for entrance into the nature park is from 30 to 110kn, and for children 7-18 years from 20 to 80kn.

MOST EFECTIVE DIET

7 days plan weight loss exercise,  Strength training, cardio, yoga…which one helps shed the pounds the quickest? The short answer–The one that burns up the most calories, most efficiently, says Michele Olson, PhD, professor of exercise science at Auburn University Montgomery in Montgomery, Ala. Cardio is king when it comes to calorie burning, Olson says, and you’ll see even better results if your workout has an ‘after burn’ effect. Interval-style workouts (alternating between short bursts of high intensity effort followed by brief periods of active recovery) are one of the best ways to turn on this ‘after burn,’ which can raise your metabolic rate for up to four hours after a session, meaning you’ll burn more calories even after the workout is over, she explains. “Any time you elevate your heart rate into the top end of your target zone, the extra fuel (aka calories) you burn up continues in order to bring your heart rate and muscle activity back to normal and to metabolize the lactic acid you have created.” But before you jump into an all-interval, all-the-time cardio marathon, there are a few important things to note to maximize your exercise time for weight loss: First, too much high intensity cardio can burn out your body, leaving you tired, cranky, and too exhausted to stick with your routine. To avoid this, alternate two or three days per week of higher intensity interval workouts with more endurance-focused sessions (exercising at an intensity where you can still talk without getting too winded). Second, it’s important to build metabolically active lean muscle mass to help give your body shape and definition while you continue to slim down. For best weight loss results, Olson recommends doing cardio (45-60 minutes), five days a week, along with two to three non-consecutive days of resistance training. Arguably, the best workout for anything (weight loss included) is going to be the one that you’ll do! So while calorie burn is important, find a way to make fitness fun too. Trade the treadmill for a high energy Zumba class or shift from weight machines to a TRX suspension trainer to prevent boredom while sticking to your workout schedule. And, if you really want to maximize your time and the gym, consider workouts that have both a strength and cardio element to them such as kettlebell training (a recent study from theAmerican Council on Exercise found that total body exercises performed with a kettlebell burned a whopping 20.2 calories per minute, or about the equivalent to running a 6-minute mile). And does that mean you should skip out on the sometime less intense workouts like Pilates or yoga if you’re trying to lose weight? Definitely not, says Olson. “The body thrives on new and different movements such as Pilates and yoga, so incorporate them into your weight loss efforts.”
